Does my footage get uploaded anywhere?

No. Transcription runs on your own computer inside After Effects. Your footage never leaves it.

Which After Effects versions work?

After Effects 2022 or newer on Windows and macOS. Some per-word typography needs After Effects 2024 (24.3) or newer.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Install the panel and you get 7 days of everything in Pro. No card needed.

Do I need an internet connection?

Only once, to download the speech model the first time, and to check your license now and then. Captions are made offline.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled from the link in your receipt email; you keep access until the end of the paid month.
