Terms of Sale & License

Who sells

The tools are made by Creative Cut. Orders are processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which is the Merchant of Record: it takes the payment, charges the right sales tax or VAT for your country, and issues your receipt. Its buyer terms also apply to the payment itself.

Your license

• Buying a plan gives you a personal license key to use the tool for your own work and your clients' work, including commercial projects.
• One key can be active on 2 computers at a time. You can move it: remove it from one computer in the panel (License → Remove from this computer), then activate it on the new one.
• Teams need one license per editor. Don't share, resell or publish keys.
• You may not copy, decompile, resell or redistribute the tool, its presets, sound effects or code, except the bundled fonts, which keep their own open licenses.
• Captions, videos and projects you make with the tool are yours, with no royalty or credit required.

Plans & billing

• Monthly plans (Basic, Pro) renew every month until you cancel. Cancel any time from the link in your receipt email; you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
• Lifetime is a one-time payment for the life of the product, including its future updates.
• Prices are in US dollars. Your local currency and any tax are shown at checkout before you pay.
• If we change a monthly price, we'll email you before it applies to your next renewal. Lifetime purchases are never charged again.
• Refunds: see the refund policy (14-day money-back on first purchases).

Free trial

New installs include a free trial with every feature, with no card needed. When it ends, add a license key to keep making captions. Captions you already made stay in your projects.

Updates

Active subscriptions and Lifetime licenses include all updates to the tool you bought. The panel tells you when a new version is out. We may change or retire features over time; if we discontinue a paid tool, monthly plans stop renewing and we'll keep the last version working for Lifetime owners.

Acceptable use

• Use the tools only on footage you have the right to use.
• Don't try to bypass the license check or the trial, or attack our servers (for example by guessing keys).
• We may disable a key that is shared publicly, bought with a stolen card or charged back.

Your content & privacy

Transcription runs on your own computer: your footage and transcripts are not uploaded to us. The panel contacts our server only to check your license and for updates. Read the privacy policy for details.

Warranty & liability

We test every release, but software can have bugs, and results depend on your audio, After Effects version and computer. The tools are provided "as is": please try them during the free trial before buying. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we aren't liable for lost profits, lost data or missed deadlines. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes don't apply to payments already made. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Contact us first at hello@creativecut.in. Most problems are solved by email.
